Winter tyres on swedish winter roads

During the period 1 December up to and including 31 March the Swedish authorities have specific requirements as to what type of tyre your car should have in winter conditions roads. These requirements apply both to Swedish-registered vehicles and vehicles registered abroad.

Winter conditions are when there is snow, ice, slush or frost on some part of the roadway.
