Vessels

This section contains general information about rules pertaining to vessels and their equipment.

• A vessel is a craft intended to be used at sea and which has a hull and constructive steering capacity (such as a rudder).
• The Swedish Maritime Code categorises vessels into ships and boats. A ship has hull length of twelve metres or longer and breadth of four metres or wider. Smaller vessels are considered boats.
