The requirements of making a port or a hazmat notification do not apply to:

• ships engaged in domestic voyages in sea areas D and E
• fishing vessels, traditional ships and recreational craft with a length of less than 45 metres
• warships, naval auxiliaries and oter ships owned or operated by a Member State and used for non-commercial public service
• ships below 1000 gross tonnage with bunkers for use on board

The requirement of making a waste notification and especially sludge, bilge water and waste oils do not apply to:

• fishing vessls
• (will be filled in later)

The requirement of making a waste notification and especially sewage and garbage do not apply to:

• ships operating in the Swedish archipelago like taxi boats, fishin vessels etc
• ships that by the Swedish Transport Agency have been granted a certificate of exemption from mandatory waste notification in the actual port
